Welding Helmet
The Kennedy® HAS413 Automatic Variable Shade Welding Helmet automatically protects the operator from eye injuries caused by weld arc, leaving both hands free. The helmet is equipped with two sets of photo sensors to sense arc light, these switch the filter from shade 4 to the to pre-selected shade 9, 10, 11, 12, or 13 in just 0.5ms. As the helmet is powered by an integral solar panel no bulky batteries are required which reduces the weight and size of the helmet and ensures that the helmet always has power when you need it. The filter provides permanent UV/IR protection up to DIN 15 whilst in use. Any of the five welding shades can be easily selected using the side mounted adjustment dial. The Kennedy welding helmet shell is certified to DIN EN 169 and DIN 179 and is suitable for Arc & Mig/Mag welding only.
